January 25, 2010 | Last Updated: 1/25/10 5:59 PM ET | Comments (3)

Defensive assistant coach Brian Stewart was named defensive coordinator at the University of Houston on Monday. Stewart joined the Eagles this past off-season after a two-year stint as defensive coordinator of the Dallas Cowboys.

Said Eagles head coach Andy Reid: "We thank Brian for the job he did this past year in Philadelphia. He's a good football coach and he's well deserving of this new opportunity. He will bring a great deal of coaching experience to the already strong football staff at the University of Houston. We wish Brian and his family all the best."

good numbers for a safety but i dont know if its good that a safety leads a team in tackles, but the eagles linebackers are terrible so who else is gonna make the tackles

He sure wasn't much help against the Dallas defense. Andy will find another one...probably a better one

Maybe Stewart leaving is a good thing....Could have been Cowboy Sabotage for us this last year. Jerry's pockets are very deep.
