Los Angeles, Jan 30 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Rosie O’Donnell broke up with her partner of 11 years – Kelli Carpenter, but now the spilt is behind her for good. As she is very determined to keep her family together, as her son Parker is with her.

“It’s different with gay women,” Rosie continued. “I’d like to tell you it’s as dramatic as a hetero-sexual break-up, not that it’s not as painful or that it doesn’t require as much emotional work, but you know, the gay women that I know have the women they used to be [with] still in their lives in some capacity. Kelli and I will always be a family and we love each other very much and we want the best for each other and it’s all OK. I know that’s hard for a lot of people to believe, but there it is.”

Her new documentary “A Family Is A Family Is A Family: A Rosie O’Donnell Celebration,” will premiere on HBO channel on January 31. Through this documentary, the viewers will get to see the intimate side of her family. Rosie also showcases the diversities of today’s modern families in her brilliant documentary. She adopted her son Parker and later she explained to her son that how he didn’t grow in her womb, but rather in her heart.
