On Thanksgiving 2008, NFL Encourages Kids to Play 60
On a day and a weekend when families come together, go outside to play touch football and then gather for dinner and NFL games, the NFL hopes to raise awareness about the severity of the childhood obesity epidemic by showacsing its PLAY 60 campaign.

Show and tell is always a proud moment for kids. Some bring their favorite toy, others bring a pet, and others may even bring a brother or sister. But for 34 lucky kids around the country this fall, they will bring something more unique than ever before – an NFL player.
