TEFL Myth I – You’ll get paid teaching work anywhere in the world.Whilst there are paid TEFL opportunities in many places across the globe, there are not in all. If you have a set destination in mind, you need to check out carefully whether or not you there are opportunities for paid employment. Visas can also sometimes be an issue, so make sure you satisfy all the requirements for a full working visa if you want to get a long-term, full-time job in a specific place. For example, some countries require English teachers to have a degree if they want a full working visa.
