Just Can't Get Enough: New Wave Halloween Music Just Can't Get Enough: New Wave Halloween Music Review Average Rating: (4 out of 5 stars) For those who must have the whole series... This is an add-on to the brilliant "Just Can't Get Enough" New Wave Series released in the mid-1990's. If you have to have every disc in a collection, and you already have the 15 discs in the original release of the series, this is an OK addition. It has a slew of bizarre '80's halloween tunes, but the price of this is all repaid with Ministry's "Everyday is Halloween." Even if you do not like Ministry, or have never heard of them, you will play this one track and say "Holy cow! I have heard that song a million times in the dance club, but I never knew what it was called or who it was by. Thank goodness I now own it, and I can get on with the rest of my life." Buy the other 15 if you can find them, but try to avoid the other add-ons like New Wave Women, New Wave Christmas, etc... I will end up owning them because I am that kind of person, but it doesn't mean you should be. Submitted by bperera (Upper Arlington, OH) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No Excellant Original songs by original artists. A great collection of halloween themed songs. My favorite Halloween CD, but sounds good anytime. The good folks at Rhino have done it again. Just Can't Get Enough: New Wave Halloween album $17.29 For all the multi-cultural hippie freedom Sly and the Family Stone stood for in their pre-RIOT glory days, frontman Sly Stone was smart and talented enough to know that it was through catchy pop singles that his band's message would gain its widest dissemination. All 11 of Sly and the Family Stone's Top 40 hits are here (some of which, like "Hot Fun in the Summertime" ...
| | Reverend Horton Heat We Three Kings CD (2005)
Just Can't Get Enough: New Wave Halloween CD music $12.29 Who would have figured the man who brought us the world's most potent "Psychobilly Freakout" back in 1992 would be helping to share in the joy of the holiday season a mere 13 years later? We Three Kings is a set of 12 classic Christmas tunes (with one new original added for good measure) whipped into a nervous froth of twangy guitar and rolling drums by Jim Heath and his partners in crime, and without question this is the most user-friendly Reverend Horton Heat album to date. The Right Reverend makes with the big, frantic rock on several tunes, most notably a Caped Crusader-infused cover of "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town" and a fifth-gear charge through Chuck Berry's "Run Rudolph Run," but the real surprise is that the trio plays it relatively straight on a number of cuts, including a placid stroll through "Silver Bells" and a weepy cover of "Pretty Paper." Even the sole original tune, "Santa on the Roof," is awfully sedate by ...

Just Can't Get Enough: New Wave Halloween music CDs $51.99 Digitally remastered using 24-bit technology by Kevin Reeves.
The 4-CD set AT THE CLOSE OF A CENTURY is a chronological history of Stevie Wonder's commercial successes. The first CD documents his early Motown years on tracks that emphasize his frenetic singing and superb harmonica playing. The songs taken from MUSIC OF MY MIND, his first fully written and produced effort, show significant vocal development. CDs two and three include material from INNERVISIONS, SONGS IN THE KEY OF LIFE, and TALKING BOOK, a creative period that is considered Wonder's strongest. It is on these cuts that Wonder uses his most varied production techniques and instrumentation to share his vivid creative spirit.
The fourth disc continues with pop hits recorded during the '80s and '90s, beginning with three songs he recorded for MUSIQUARIUM, and concluding with his duet with Babyface, "How Come, How Long." Disc four should surprise listeners who may remember only "I Just Called ...
