Senior Manager, Partner Community
The T-Mobile Partner Community Team is a new team created to help build a thriving ecosystem for T-Mobile’s new community of developers and partners. As Sr. Manager of the Partner Community team, you will be responsible for managing a team and defining a strategy to create, support, and manage an innovative world-class partner program. You’ll work to build benefits and value for developers of applications and services for the T-Mobile network. You will also partner cross-functionally with key stakeholders including marketing, business development, legal, customer care and business operations to ensure continued adoption, development and health of the partner ecosystem.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage an effective, collaborative team
- Work with cross-functional teams to create and effectively deliver an innovative world class partner program.
- Analyze industry and competitive trends and define offerings for partners around the popular T-Mobile Network.
- Help to develop and implement pricing models for partner revenue-sharing
- Manage relationships with vendors to drive a compelling online partner community
- Lead partner initiatives that nurture and support partnerships
- Deeply engage in relationships to understand partners’ requirements, objectives, and strategies both short term and long term.
Discretion & Independent Judgment
- Must be able to decisively weigh benefits and risks leading to solid long-term decisions for the program.
- Must be able to comparatively assess competitive offerings vs. T-Mobile and other developer programs compare and determine offerings that will differentiate T-Mobile.
- Being a brand new community for T-Mobile, this program requires candidates who demonstrate individual, unique approaches to situations that have not been addressed before.
- Must be able to take a mature and realistic approach to setting expectations internally and externally while the program is being rolled out in phases.

Functional/Technical Skills
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- Excellent communication and meeting management skills.
- Vendor management and negotiating experience a plus.
- Previous experience working in developer or partner programs is highly desirable.
- Desire to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Good analytical skills: forecasting and developing business cases and demonstrated fiscal responsibility.
Education & Experience
- 5-8 years of experience in developer/partner programs and/or product management with emphasis in the digital online or wireless industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required and MBA preferred
- Successful track record of meeting specific business objectives and performance metrics.
- Experience using Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Environmental/Physical Demands
- Travel may be required periodically
Senior Product Manager, Consumer Products and Services
The candidate will have product responsiblity across multiple business areas. This will involve evaluating customer needs, competitive services, and industry trends to design enhanced and future services and products. The candidate will also be driving the features and functions of the underlying platforms which support those businesses, developing competitive and business case analysis, and identifying cross-functional priorities. This position requires strong general business management skills as well as the ability to track and present business results to T-Mobile executives. S/he must have the ability to think strategically and creatively about customer, market and business issues, translate analyses and insights into well documented and communicated product and service requirements and be capable of collaborating with cross-functional partners to achieve goals and deliverables.
The ideal candidate should have the uncanny ability to leverage a variety of voice and data technology products to solve real customer problems in an easy to use and broadly accessible way that drives mass adoption. S/he will be the primary advocate of customer experience and delight within the development organization. Ideally, the candidate will have previous experience managing customer-facing mobile communications products.
The candidate will be taking products from initial concept stages through development to launch and will monitor their progress thereafter. Therefore, s/he will be an excellent facilitator, with strong teaming skills working with multiple functional teams to accomplish goals.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate should be able to understand, evaluate, and articulate business models and broad marketing and product requirements, detailing service operation and customer experience. Understanding how those requirements will impact the underlying network and handset systems is a definite plus.
Use research driven insights and analytics to develop and drive consumer-focused products and services.

Lead the enterprise development team through the development of product specifications, management of changes to the requirements and the establishment of development plans and schedules.

Qualifications:
MS or BS in Engineering or Business.
Required skills include: product management, project management, and product marketing.
Experience in vendor evaluation and management, product and/or project management, budgeting and business casing and delivery of technology focused consumer products or services.
An understanding of telecom architecture, supplementary services, SMS, MMS, WAP
Ability to communicate ideas and technical specs through documentation is a key requirement
Ability to multitask, and cope with a dynamic environment where priorities are constantly revised to keep pace with a highly competitive industry
Excellent communication skills and leadership skills with an emphasis on decision-making, problem solving, and effective team motivation are essential.
Ability to self-educate in new telecom technologies

Product Manager, My Faves Product Development
T-Mobile’s Product Development team is looking for a self-driven strategic thinker to join our My Faves Product Management team. My Faves is the innovative and proprietary T-Mobile user experience for connecting to the people who matter most. As a member of the product development team, you will work with subject matter experts from across our Marketing, Product Development and Engineering departments, as well as outside partners to develop and drive our user experience requirements while continuing to create unique value for T-Mobile.
The ideal candidate should have the ability to leverage a variety of voice and data technology products to solve real customer problems in an easy to use and broadly accessible way that drives mass adoption and supports the T-Mobile brand promise of enriching personal relationships. S/he will be the primary advocate of customer experience and define ways to surprise and delight our customers. A successful candidate will have previous experience managing customer-facing products or services, and have a passion for social communications and community.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in consumer based Product Management, Marketing, or Development, in a technology based company required
- Strong bias towards creative thinking and relentless discovery - curiosity is a plus
- Show ability to achieve objectives and deliver results on multiple projects - multi-tasking required
- Demonstrate strategic thinking and analysis – able to think big, but act tactically and quickly
- Previous track record of leading cross-functional teams required - builds trust and creates open discussion
- Demonstrated success in using customer-focused research to drive product innovation and satisfaction
- Has a track record of excellent written and verbal communication
Education and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in either Marketing, Product Development, or similar consulting experience required
- 5+ years of experience in consumer electronics and/or software industry required

Director, Product Management, Groups
Our Product Development Team is looking for a Director, Product Management, Groups, in our Connected Life group.
As Director, Product Management, Groups, you own the vision and strategy for T-Mobile’s group communication products. You will define the customer experience for services that bring people together by creating high value consumer services that enable real time sharing and group interactions. This include defining the future path for T-Mobile’s iconic My Faves application. S/he will also drive an overall product strategy that innovates and defines the user experience for new consumer services such as roadmap multi-party voice connections, shared family forums, mobile community. The role requires leadership, business acumen, organizational skills, flexibility, problem solving and strong product management experience in social media/ social networking. The core of the T-Mobile brand is about connecting our customers to the people who matter most. Consequently, the Director, Product Management, Groups will be responsible for defining and creating experiences for groups, especially families, that enhance personal relationships and enrich all forms of group communications.
Leveraging your deep passion for customer-driven innovation, you will be a passionate advocate for the creation of innovative user experiences that delight consumers and will work closely with other product development leads to direct and manage our hardware and software partners, design team and application partners. You will also partner cross-functionally with key stakeholders including marketing, business development, content services, customer care, sales and business operations.

Education and Experience
- Minimum 8 years in product management and 5 years managing product managers
- Demonstrated success in using customer-focused research to drive product innovation and satisfaction
- Ability to partner effectively internally in order to create wins for both the company and the customer
- Experience with community, social networking, or brands that drove frothing, loyal customers desired
- Experience writing MRD requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in gathering design requirements into a product vision
- Previous consumer experience required
- Familiarity with mobile data services preferred
- Demonstrated ability to create and leverage customer use cases in design process
- Proven track record of delivering against business objectives
- Excellent communication skills required - written, verbal - and strong user of MS Office - able to create own PPTs, and lead creation of product definition documents and business cases
