Clutch Facts:
Always up for a good time, Clutch has been known to perform his hilarious hijinks everywhere, from his favorite balcony at the Toyota Center, to his yearly birthday party, to the annual NBA All Star Game. He loves meeting people and never misses an opportunity to entertain. Hanging out next to his very own statue in the Memorial Hermann Sky Court at the Toyota Center and signing copies of his book pre-game are certainly some of his favorite pastimes. In addition to performing live, Clutch also enjoys writing his regular column, Clutch Speaks, which is entering its fourth year as a staple on rockets.com. As of February, 2006, Clutch’s site boasts upwards of 30,000 visitors per month.

Hey Houston! I know. I know. It has been a while since I’ve last written. I’m sorry. I’ve just been so busy with appearances and all these games we’ve been winning. That’s right! How about it? As of writing to you on this last day of 2009 our Rockets are hovering right around a 60% win average with a record of 19-13. The West is tough and it is a close race with teams changing position in the standings daily, but are boys are looking good. Make sure you come out and support our team by cheering for them at Toyota Center and help create the home court advantage. Three Hundred of my direct friends and family members bought tickets through me to the 12/29/09 Rockets vs. Hornets game which ended up selling out and helping us take down the Hornets 108-100.

Since today is the last day of 2009, I thought I’d take a look back at some of my favorite moments of 2009. Here is my TOP 10 of 2009:
10. Being appointed Co-Chair of the United Way Young Leaders council and helping kick-off the 09-10 city wide campaign at Toyota Center.
9. Performing my Slingshot Rollerblade Ramp Super Clutch dunk at the 11/21/09 Rockets vs. Kings game.
8. Receiving the 2009 Mascot Leadership Award at the annual NBA Mascot Conference.
7. Shooting and airing my “NO OPPOSING TEAM FAN IS SAFE” cake video.
6. Having a short story published in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Inside Basketball entitled “A Clutch Win.”
5. Performing my Michael Jackson Dance Tribute at the 11/4/09 Rockets vs. Lakers game.
4. Publishing my 5th children’s book entitled “Clutch’s World Tour” and sponsored by Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital.
3. Taking the L.A. Lakers to a game 7 in the 2nd round of the playoffs despite missing 3 of our superstar players.
2. Watching Sweet Susie become a Mommy.
1. Becoming a father and welcoming my identical twin boys to the world!

Since everything is a top 10 lists this time of year, here is my TOP 10 of what is on tap for 2010 so far:
