Subject: RN refresher course

I am interested in taking an RN refresher course in CO. ID. AZ or CA. I/ve been an RN for 35 years but out of hospital nursing for over 20 years. I feel like I'm way behind the eight ball especially in techonology. Does any one know of refresher courses in those states.? I know people in those states I could probably stay with. It will be difficult to afford the refresher course. Thanks a bunch. Jacki 52

Hi Jacki,
I just took a refresher course online in CO. You can take the entire course from your home computer. Here's the link to it: http://www.centralcoahec.org/rnrefresher. htm
It was the least expensive ($1200 when I signed up Sept 2009) compared to other courses in CO. The other courses are from Red Rocks Community College -- but it's a class room and most likely the next session won't start for a few months.
