I have some good music (well i seem to think so) that could go well with chuck
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LK9XWyINMoA any song by this band is good in my books!
also seriously check out http://www.blalocksirp.com/ its were i get all my music (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFCVQEVc0V0
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lduSzLNW2QY
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBgPmw3JCN4
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjbNarFBvUk
seriously i have loads more just waitin to be heard (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Blalock's Indie Rock Playlist is fantastic, as is Boy Lilikoi.
I frequent a number of other sites for my music fix, at the moment I'm particularly loving CBC Radio3, which has to be the best use of my tax dollars since universal health care. Gorilla Vs. Bear, Pretty Much Amazing, and of course Said The Gramaphone (because I like art and stories with my music) are also fantastic.

I've got some new picks, although the songs themselves are about a year or two old.

Percussion Gun - White Rabbit
WHY IT WOULD WORK: The use of Spoon's 'Got Nuffing' really showcased how well rough indie rock goes with the show's "adventure sequences." This song's fantastic drum work and intro buildup sequence showcase it well for the show.
HOW IT RELATES: The lyrics also work for someone who may have a bit of an issue with their morality at the moment.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IClBpch9vmM...feature=related
BONUS: They're named after an Alice In Wonderland character.

Drain The Blood - The Rural Alberta Advantage
ABOUT THEM: ABC News called this group "A Canadian group that does Americana better than Americans."
SOUNDS LIKE: A non-Scottish, paired down Frightened Rabbit. (Actually, both of these bands don't really sound like other bands, but they sound more like each other than anything else...)
WHY IT WOULD WORK: A song about a person who is in a futile relationship with someone else. The beats switch back and forth from a loud emotional peak to a slower, more traditional pitch.
BONUS: The music video features the group, two guys and a girl, conducting surveillance out of a van. I don't know why they're bugging some random couple's house, but there it is.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YbrQ0mr43PI

Matt And Kim - Good Ol' Fashioned Nightmare
ABOUT THEM: Two out of the three bands listed in this post are from Brooklyn. This is one, can you guess the other? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
WHY IT WOULD WORK: Morning songs on Chuck are often peppy, but transfer into a bad situation rather quickly. This one is peppy and dark!
HOW IT RELATES: I've always felt that one of the themes of this show is that normal doesn't come from situations, it comes from people. The Buy More is a majore chain store, but it's anything but normal. Although the lyrics in this song sort of don't mean anything, the general tone of the lyrics is about pointing out the nightmares of a mundane life.
BONUS: This song was used to promote the show Community.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a0G0V2fOhrY

Bonus Pick: St. Vincent - Laughing With a Mouthful of Blood
Never actually heard anything like this on Chuck, I'd be curious to see it work. Also, the video is hilarious.

One day I'll suggest a track by Free Energy. But not yet!

Being a huge fan of The Clash I wish they would use "Should I Stay or Should I Go' for whenever Chuck and Sarah reveal their feelings for each other. It really fits the tension between them.

Darling you got to let me know
Should I stay or should I go?
If you say that you are mine
I’ll be here ’til the end of time
So you got to let me know
Should I stay or should I go?

Always tease tease tease
You’re happy when I’m on my knees
One day is fine, next day is black
So if you want me off your back
Well come on and let me know
Should I stay or should I go?

This indecision’s bugging me
If you don’t want me, set me free
Exactly who’m I’m supposed to be
Don’t you know which clothes even fit me?
Come on and let me know
Should I cool it or should I blow?

I've got a question about a recurring theme music that I always here and love.
The example I found was in S2E21 chuck versus the colonel when morgan is talking to big mike at the end.
It is the piano and strings theme going on behind the dialogue.

Is there a name for this theme?

I love when they used Spoon's Got Nuffin in Sarah's fight scene in Operation Awesome... I'm a fan of that band and it was great hearing them in one of my favorite shows (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Them Crooked Vultures is on SNL right now. I'd like to nominate everything they're playing for Chuck. It's kind of epic rock music, but it has that nice "I could see having a gun fight to this music" sort of feel to it.

Yeah, they're great. I saw them in NYC once... my ears were ringing for three days...

That was a song written by me (Tim Jones) and the talented Eugene Edwards. Zach really brought that to life don't you think? ;-)

I wonder how many regional varieties of music are in the intersect? I'd love to see Chuck jam on a samisen/shamisen! Gotta love the Japanese music scale.

Alright, if Chuck has an adventure in Europe again, it needs to be set to this song, fantastic!

Loving everyones music suggestion, I've downloaded a ton to my iTunes. I guess I'll contribute by putting this song that I think fits Sarah and Chuck perfectly, plus Joshua Radin is awesome.

Wow! Greetings, Mr. Jones.

Uh - I'm a little star struck. I really like your original comps. on the show. Is there any chance we'll ever see a CD of the sound track? Many of us would love to have it made available.

FYI, I've started a section on my YT channel dedicated to Chuck's soundtrack, with many songs from season 2 including the best live performance (where available) for each song. I'm slowly updating it. I would point out in particular the fresh live performance (December 2009) from Your Vegas, with "Christhmas and me are through", a great vocal performance.

Alright, Chuck Vs. The Mask took the show in a weird direction, a direction that demands a weird yet awesome band like Hot Chip!

Kevin,

I'd love to think that the intersect is full of world music. Maybe he could blaze away on the Scottish Bagpipes and scare the Ring into surrendering... I think jamming on the Shamisen would be truly cool!

Bucko,

No reason to be star struck. I put my pants on one leg at a time, it's just that when my pants are on, I make Gold Records! ;-) (Gotta love Christopher Walken)

Seriously, I really am working hard on a score CD. We're trying to navigate the necessary hurdles to getting something put out. I was thinking of asking you (the fans) what tracks you might like to hear on the CD. Is that something Chuck fans would be into? It would just be for the score moments in the series (not songs) but there is so much music (many hours worth). Hope you're all enjoying the episodes.

Kindest Regards,
Tim Jones
