I'm not sure why you're using Salma Hayek and Scarlett Johannsen as examples, or if I'm understanding your question completely. However, I do agree that even though breastfeeding is encouraged in our society that not everyone, at least in the USA, supports breastfeeding as normal and functional.

To address what I think is the other issue in your question: if a mother cannot for some reason feed her baby from her own breast, then ideally she would feed her baby her own expressed milk from a bottle, with the last breastfeeding option being milk from another lactating woman. Having a "wet nurse" of sorts isn't the top option simply because a mother's milk is designed to give the mother's own offspring her source of antibodies and nutrients, which may not be as effective from another mom.

While I admit that you are asking this question as a young male, it is a sort of relevent issue. I think that there is no way that even all the worlds women could produce enough milk for all the children, women and adults out there. I mean we're only half the adult population which is less than the childrens population. Besides, if we are supposed to drink milk too, whose do we drink? Our own or someone elses? Besides, I think few of us have any desire to be hooked up to a milking machine all day long for years on end, like a cow. Why dont we try that with you men, afterall there are men who do actually start to produce milk under the right conditions.

I don't think this is a stupid question. I have wondered this myself. I guess it doesn't make sense to drink milk from people for our entire lives because there just aren't enough lactating women and we don't want to be hooked up to machines all the time to produce the milk, like we do with cows. But other adult mammals don't drink milk at all. So, why do we have to? And, why cows? Why not dogs or cats? Seriously, it is weird if you think about it.

Babies do drink breast milk. Human breast milk is only made when a mother is lactating after she gives birth to a baby. Obviously you are an idiot and just being a pervert jerk though. Grow up or find something else to do with you free time. Only a loser would have too much free time that they would hang out in a mommy and baby section on Y!A. Get a life kid!
