Former Beatles singer Sir Paul McCartney is to be honoured with his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in LA.
McCartney, 69, will be given his own star after band mate Ringo Starr recently received the same honour.
His star will be close to those of George Harrison and John Lennon, who were both given stars after their deaths. The band received a star as a whole in 1988.
McCartney will reportedly be given the star when a date is arranged for him to unveil it.
A source told UK newspaper the Daily Star Sunday: “Paul McCartney has long been approved for one of his own, so a date for his ceremony should be forthcoming.”
