Alexander McQueen hanged self in wardrobe, left suicide note: coroner

McQueen's death was listed as "nonsuspicious."
The contents of the note were not released.
Days before his body was found in a wardrobe in his apartment on Thursday, McQueen, whose real name was Lee Alexander McQueen, had left several messages on Twitter agonizing over the death of his mother days earlier.
He said on Twitter that he had to "somehow pull myself together and finish."
Coroner's officer Lynda Martindill said the 40-year-old McQueen died from asphyxiation and hanging.
The inquest has yet to formally rule McQueen's death a suicide.
After a five-minute hearing Wednesday, coroner Paul Knapman adjourned the inquest until April 28.
Full details of the autopsy will be available in a few months.
