THAT IS A FUCKING AWESOME LIST MAN!
REALLY REALLY GREAT!
I SO LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING YOU OVER THE RAINBOW!
where are the ladies? is there a separate heroine list?
I don’t know if I have any women who are my personal heroes. I’m sure I do somewhere, but I can’t think of any offhand.
PS. I really recommend the Jerry Rubin book pictured above if you can find yourself a copy. I went looking for a new edition at the University of Washington bookstore once, and their computers didn’t even have a listing for it or for him as an author. You’ll see why if you read it…
yeah that’s a pretty fuckin sweet list. pretty damn close to mine, as a matter off fact. no RAW, though? where’s the love?
Of those, I am familiar with these people and feel they share the same hero status for me: Tolkien, Miyamoto, Lennon, Watts and Miyazaki.
Tolkien for his great adventures that I got t o know at an early age. (And I’m not only talking about the trilogy about the ring) Miyamoto for creating some of the best games I’ve played in my childhood. Lennon for being a humainst and great musician. Watts for bringing a lot of philosophical insight and entertainment. Miyazaki for creating some of the best animated movies I’ve seen.
I ought to be more familiar with David byrne, but I’m not.
So I guess that’s it!
Yeah I mean to add RAW and CS Lewis to this as well!
