Beginning March 2 at noon ET, SPEED will give viewers a real-time look into the fast-paced world of online vehicle auctions with Copart – Sold in Seconds, a 30-minute program hosted by Greg White and Jamie Howe.

“This is a unique opportunity for SPEED viewers to get involved in the largest volume of used vehicle sales in the world,” said Rick Miner, SPEED SVP of Production & Network Operations. “There will be vehicles that are ready to drive, damaged vehicles purchased for parts or ready to be re-built or customized. Whether you are looking for a daily driver or the drive train from a damaged Ferrari, Copart will have it.”

Copart, which recently burst onto the motor sports scene as a primary sponsor in both NASCAR (Carl Edwards) and the NHRA (Brandon Bernstein), gets most of its inventory from insurance companies, including vehicles deemed a total loss, recovered stolen vehicles, dealer trade-ins, damaged rental cars and retired fleet vehicles.

Just last week, it was announced that Allstate Insurance Company selected Copart as its exclusive national provider of vehicle sales and auction services.

“This show is going to open a window of participation for tons of people … especially weekend racers,” White said. “Instead of having to pay $15,000 for a (Volkswagen) GTI, you can pick one up through Copart with a little damage for $5,000 and go auto-crossing all day long without having to bust your bank account.”

use their vehicles," Howe said. Copart – Sold in Seconds will air every Tuesday at noon, highlighting some of the vehicles coming up for auction, viewing actual auctions in real-time and meeting some of Copart’s most interesting customers.

“This show is an ideal blend of the excitement generated by the hyper-competitive auction atmosphere, the sourcing of rare parts and potential ‘barn finds’ for the ultimate vehicle enthusiasts,” Miner said. “With buyers participating from nearly 100 countries around the world going after everything from classic cars to snowmobiles, it’s going to be a wild ride.”
