bladex8, I think that has mostly to do with their new scoring system. IIRC, they only go by 0.5's now.

Looks like NMH2 got Spirittracks'd. It's better then the first one but it has a lower score.

I think that Nintendo was extremely lucky to have Travis on their console. It is, with a few exceptions of course, the only game for this platform that breaks the wiis' often to cute and snug designs

Just one more note, I really dont think that it is important if the review is energetic or not. You do this day in and day out it might be hard to be enthusiastic every time, even with a small piece of art like this. As long as they cover the most important aspects of the reviews i think that it is a minor issue

  • M-Mehl

    @ Blaklyon.

The bad camera is not that big a deal, yes sometimes it might get you steamed eg. i the middle of a boss battle, but for the biggest part of the game i actually think the camera is ok. It is my oppinion that there are a lot of games out there that deserve "the bad camera" award way more than NOMH II.

Furthermore, I think that a part of the reason why the first game is rated a little better than the sequel has something to do with the fact that the first time Travis appeared on the wii system, it was quite the shocker. Nothing quite like it had ever been seen on this console and I do believe that the brutallity of the game helped set the score, mostly due to the other wii games cute and snug designs. The first game was different form anything ever before seen on the system, while the sequel just delivers the brutal entertainment one would expect from the hands of Travis.

Does it make any sense? hope so

Dang they cut off his friends head?Thats mean lol.But uh when he said this one was better than the first one then why did they give it a 8.5,and give the first 1 a 9.0?Any way ill proply get this one pretty soon.I loved the first 1.

I hope the bad camera factor doesn't impact the game too much.

Is it just me or are most reviews on GS basically: "Despite a number of flaws that I'm not at liberty to go into, (insert title here) is an awesome game! You should buy it! BUY IT NOW!" There always seems to be that 'despite' moment, eg. at 4:35 in this.

Trivia to No More Heroes fans: Travis's voice actor happens to be also the voice actor for one other reasonably famous video game character, the Medic from Team Fortress 2.

I see GS decided to skip the "on camera" presence of the reviewer, all the better because we get to see more of the game that way. Good review GS, this game definitely goes into my wish list.

Nice review, Lark. Man, I still gotta finish the first one so I can get to this one. I can already tell they have cut out one thing that drives me crazy about the first one - all the choppy, pointless driving around on Travis' bike from point to point.
