WYOMING – A forensic anthropologist determined that a skull was the only human skeletal remain recovered from a wooded area of Hunlock Township, state police Lt. Richard Krawetz said on Tuesday.
Krawetz, commander of the criminal investigations unit based at the Wyoming barracks, said the skull will be scientifically tested for DNA in an attempt to learn an identity.
State police at Shickshinny said skeletal remains were found in woods near Roaring Brook Drive by two men riding ATVs Friday afternoon.
