What Sales Negotiation Training Have You Done With Your Clients?

I have many corporate clients but whether they are corporate or small businesses, the sales negotiation training techniques are the same.  One company that I had worked with previously in other aspects wanted guidance in their procedure for sales negotiations.

The CEO was confident in his teams negotiation skills but felt that the previous training they had was out of step with the positive energy he wanted in the business.

People were picking up on the negative energy the sales team was giving off and it was making sales very difficult to close.

The CEO gave me a videotape of a negotiation so that I could see what was happening and the best way to change that. I saw that the words were correct but the body language was out of alignment.

What sales negotiation training have you done with your clients?

There were two people in particular that I worked with.  The man and woman both came into the program with the same feelings of being undervalued, resentful and manipulated.  This was the energy drain people were picking up on.

These meetings were confidential so as I probed deeper I found that these two people were in a relationship which was prohibited by the company.

Together we worked on shifting their beliefs and activating new beliefs.  As they felt better about their positions and gained more confidence they requested the company policy on relationships be re-evaluated.

The policy was eliminated and this ended up with them having better results because they were extremely effective when they worked together.

When you are working with client teach them how to:
•    Emit positive energy
•    Align body language and words
•    Shift the beliefs that are not working

Positive energy as well as negative energy can be felt by others.  To be in sales negotiations, you need to be in the right frame of mind otherwise people will pick up on something not seeming right.

Shift your beliefs from the ones that don’t work for you to ones that do.  Take baby steps in these shifts and you will start to see great results quickly.
