In the very near future, everyone out there
in Metal and Active Rock radio land will be receiving the latest
edition of the FMQB Metal Detector sampler,
featuring host Ski of WJJO/Madison. Ski will be
telling you about new, up-and-coming bands like Hail The
Villain, 2 Cents and Mortemia, veteran acts
like Ratt and Helloween, and bands that have been
making a living in the underground for quite some time, such as
Fireball Ministry and Evergreen Terrace, who
deliver an exclusive cover of the Foo Fighters' "Everlong."
There is even one a capella Metal act – Van Canto – which
is certainly worth checking out for its uniqueness. And of
course, you will be able to get a taste of Ski's nightly Metal
show, JJOverdrive, by listening to her demo at the end of
