On the evening of February 12, 2010, the world will focus its attention on Vancouver for the XXI Olympic Winter Games. Billions of people will be tuned in to watch the Ceremonies and you could be a part of this exciting and historic event.

It will take the combined effort and dedication of thousands of volunteers to make the Ceremonies happen in both performing and backstage support roles. It’s easy to get involved. Support volunteers follow the VANOC application process as described below.

  • Support volunteers make the magic happen backstage and are vital to the success of the Ceremonies.

  • Hundreds of dedicated people are needed to support the show in areas such as cast coordination, rehearsal operations, prop supervision, costume management, hair and makeup styling, food and beverage support, and office assistance.

  • It’s a unique experience to be part of a team that entertains the world!

  • You must be 19 years old by September 1, 2009 to be considered.
