Dear Prospective Ballperson (and Parents/Guardians);

Welcome to one of the hottest tennis tournaments in the world and thanks for the interest you have expressed in participating as a Ballperson at the 2010 Sony Ericsson Open.

With 400 Ballperson positions to fill, we are the largest Ballperson program in the world and need your help. We hope to welcome you to our team for an experience you will never forget!

Unlike previous years, in order to apply to be a Ballperson, we will only be accepting applications online. We will NOT be accepting paper applications this year.

Once you complete the application, you will receive a confirmation email along with additional information and requirements.

BENEFITS:

  • Attractive FILA uniform including 2 t-shirts, jacket, hat, shorts, socks and SHOES.
  • Meal coupons plus daily snacks & drinks ($10 for AM shift, $9 for PM shift).
  • Ten (10) stadium tickets for family and/or friends as follows:
    2 – Wednesday, March 24 day;
    2
    - Thursday, March 25 night;
    2
    - Tuesday, March 30 day;
    2
    - Tuesday, March 30 night;
    2
    - Wednesday, March 31 night
  • Dance Party at the end of the tournament with prizes and giveaways.
  • Photo ID badge allowing you access to watch tennis on all courts including stadium.
  • Post-tournament letter stating you have completed at least 60 hours of volunteering as a Ballperson. In some instances, this may be used as community service.
