The Tottenham and Cameroon international defender Benoit Assou-Ekotto joins Russell Fuller on the programme this weekend. As well as discussing matters at White Hart Lane, and his country's start to Cup of Nations 2012 qualifying, Beniot also gives us an insight into life in London for an African player.

The English Premier League returns with live commentary from Upton Park as click West Ham take on the leaders click Chelsea. The BBC's John Murray provides the coverage alongside the former Chelsea and Scotland winger Pat Nevin.

Sportsworld's team of reporters will bring you all the goals from the other fixtures including click West Brom against click Tottenham, click Arsenal versus click Bolton and click Manchester City at home to click Blackburn.

Reaction from the early kick-off between click Everton and click Manchester United and the Sportsworld Panel will fill the first hour of the programme from 1400 GMT. Joining Russell this week are the BBC's US football expert Shaun Wheelock and Musa Okwonga, blogger for the New York Times.

The first semi-final from the World Basketball Championships in Turkey and a preview of the women's singles final from the US Open in New York completes the Sportsworld menu on Saturday.

World Football's Alan Green leads our live commentary between sixth in the table Birmingham and 13th placed Liverpool. The BBC's chief football correspondent Mike Ingham, and the former Welsh international Robbie Savage, will also provide the description and excitement from St Andrews.

Our roving reporter, Chris Mitchell will preview the World Basketball Championship final in Turkey during our regular world basketball feature from 1630 GMT.

The men's champion at the last tennis grand slam of the year will be decided just after Sunday Sportsworld, so we'll have an in-depth look at who is likely to walk away with the trophy and the 1.7 million dollar winner's cheque.

We will also continue our examination of the prospective stars at the 2012 London Olympic games. In part 4 of the BBC's World Olympic Dreams, we feature India's female boxer, Mary Komm.
