Details:

I purchased this car from the original owner just over five years ago and started the restoration process. It has certainly been a love hate relationship. Basically, the only original metal on this beautiful '57 is the dash and cowl. Everything else was replaced since it had been severely rusted. Well today, you'll find no hint of any rust as the process has taken just under five years and $135,000 in receipts to make it what you see now. So whoever is lucky enough to bid and buy this car will certainly reap the benefit of tireless restoration. Everything is new or rebuilt from stem to stern and an extreme eye for detail shows throughout. Higlights include the powerful 283cid upgraded with dual-quad set-up and Batwing air cleaner, very nice rare power beige top with two boots, all new interior and gauges, restored original AM radio, restored clock, rebuilt working gauges, 750-14 new and correct bias ply treads, all new EZ Eye glass throughout, deluxe heater, all new wiring front to rear, DuPont paint products, correct factory markings on beautiful undercarriage. Will scream attention whenever it's displayed or shown.
