Military vehicles are very popular collectibles with many events, gatherings and clubs. Rarely, however, is one so magnificently and correctly restored in every respect as this Ford-built 1966 M151A1 1/4-ton MUTT Jeep. It is "done to the nines", complete with an impressive compliment of the military equipment that contributed to its usefulness and survival in combat and rough military use. Restored in US Army livery, this Jeep really was done to standards more usually seen in Packards and Cadillacs, yet without compromising its basic utilitarian look or purpose. Even better, it comfortably runs at highway speeds, shifts smoothly and drives great. Most military restorations have been done to World War II and Korean War era equipment making this Vietnam War era Jeep a rare example.
