Graduates

Graduates are a key source of talent for BT. We truly value the enthusiasm and huge contribution they make to the success of our business, bringing with them new perspectives and learning the skills to become our business leaders of the future.

We have however taken a decision to suspend some of our campus recruitment activities in autumn 2009, since our immediate priority is to focus our attention on finding alternative roles for existing employees who have recently been displaced. This is a short-term decision and does not indicate a change in policy or direction in connection with graduate recruitment. We will be reviewing the status of our graduate programme on an ongoing basis and are maintaining our relationships on campuses. In particular, we continue to be a major supporter of graduate skills and will provide employer support wherever possible, in the form of skills workshops and mentoring programmes.

We have now successfully filled all of our vacancies for the 2009 graduate development programme. At the moment, we are not accepting further applications.

BT is firmly committed to developing our current graduates and 2009 entrants throughout the duration of the graduate programme and onwards in their careers.
