I'm a bit worried because the game runs fine on 5 year old hardware, but the recommended specs for PC is something very 2009. This smells like emulation and quick and nasty wrapper classes :(

buying an i7 920 and upgrading motherboard/ram for it just for this game. 800$ out of pocket, look forward to being a gunner of a black-hawk and just owning.

Please DICE developers answer my one little easy question. Can GTX280 get Highset Settings ant all antiliasings?

i will be able to run this game with ease. Minimum specs are higher than console's specs so itll probably look alot better on pc.

And now we know why BF1943 for the consoles hasn't had any map packs yet...

me wantey a Quad Core. but Gigabyte lied to my. my mobo was supposed to support Phenom II 920, 940 and 955 but they have now removed those from the Supported CPU list. so if I want to upgrade to something better than a Phenom 9750 (which cost the same as the 940, i.e a waste of money) I have to get a new Mobo and CPU, and probably get Win7 at the same time as my copy of Vista is OEM and can't be transferred to a new PC.

    guess I'll have to settle for X2 6000+ at 3,3GHz, 6GB RAM, HD4850 and Vista HP x64

    Awesome!

Will all the four core be used by bfbc2 or just two as a lot of todays game?

You probably need to tell them the resolution you are using. 1024x768? No problems, I guess. 5760x1200? I doubt it!
