That’s right, ladies…he’s legal! New Moon studmuffin Taylor Lautner turns 18 today, freeing a nation of ab enthusiasts to incorporate his ridonkolous chassis into their slash fiction. Next time some Twi-hard’s mother asks Taylor to sign her underwear, there’s nothing keeping him from whisking the aging Team Jacob member away on a moonlight motorcycle ride before putting the F in MILF at a four-star hotel. Nothing criminal, anyway.

Kristen Stewart was out promoting two new movies this week at Sundance: The Runaways and Welcome To The Rileys, and it was the first time she’s been spotted in public since promoting Twilightlast fall (and vacationing with Robert Pattinson, natch). The angsty actress notoriously loathes the limelight, so we were curious if she drew from her own run-ins with crazed Twi-hards and paparazzi to inspire her portrayal of Joan Jett, and the singer’s rise to the top of the music world in the 70’s. We tracked her down on the red carpet and she filled us in on how her screaming fans really helped her nail the role.

When news broke that George Clooney’s Hope for Haiti Now telethon would airing Friday at 8PM EST on VH1, MTV and just about every channel on your television set, scant details were available as to which celebs would be involved in the show. But that didn’t stop us from starting our Official Hope For Haiti NowTelethon Lineup guessing game. We’re happy to report that our initial list is shaping up to be remarkably accurate (Anderson Cooper’s involvement doesn’t count because he’s a newsman who sometimes acts like a celebrity, not an actual celebrity).
As for Robert Pattinson, he’ll be hosting the London segment of Hope for Haiti Now. Clooney and pals will be based at the show’s headquarters in Los Angeles while Anderson Cooper reports from Ground Zero in Haiti. Performances will take place in L.A., New York and London.
With a Critics’ Choice lineup that includes Adam Lambert and Sarah Silverman, we had a hunch that this year’s show would feel a bit younger and maybe a bit sexier. Now it’s official! We just got our hands exclusively on a skit that will air as part of the show. The clip contains CCMA host Kristin Chenoweth making a bloody mess of herself while auditioning to play Bella in New Moon. We’re sure these skits will provide comic relief between thoughtful acceptance speeches made by A-list actors.
Wow, Taylor Lautner really is seventeen. The Twilight star reportedly has a plan to win back former girlfriend Taylor Swift. “He plans to overwhelm Taylor with four dozen red roses, a diamond friendship ring and a romantic dinner date when they’re both in Los Angeles” to promote their upcoming film Valentine’s Day, says some squealer to the Enquirer. “Lautner isn’t accepting her rejection. The way he sees it, this is nothing more than a minor setback in an enduring love affair.” Seriously—dude’s seventeen.
While their reported problems—he’s a health food nut, she wants to “focus on career”—seem more than surmountable, there’s no way this plan is going to work if a) it’s already being reported in the Enquirer and b) not a figment of the tab’s imagination. Let’s just hope Lautner doesn’t bring those roses out on the red carpet. Remember when Lisa Simpson shot down Ralph Wiggum on TV?
Proving once again that her career path is only loosely associated with acting, Ashley Greene has stripped off her clothes for attention. This time, Greene is shilling for SoBe’s zero calorie drinks, and in the video and photo’s on the brand’s website, she appears naked but for some artfully painted-on fish scales. The Twilight star’s hot bod was last seen over the summer when some personal photos were leaked by accident.
Greene explained the artistic process she underwent to prepare for the shoot, saying “It took the artist 12 hours to paint the SoBe scales on each skinsuit. But it was totally worth it. It’s an experience I’ll never forget.” It’s probably an experience most 12-to-22-year-old boys sitting at their computer won’t forget either. This fantastical gothic version of Lewis Carroll’s classic tale is sure to be visually stunning and over-the-top. Naturally Johnny Depp is The Mad Hatter, while Australian actress Mia Wasikowska snagged the role as Alice. Burton’s wife Helena Bonham Carter plays the part of The Red Queen with Anne Hathaway as The White Queen. Other highlights include Alan Rickman as The Caterpillar and Michael Sheen as The White Rabbit. Can you feel our excitement?
RPattz fans, rejoice! The sulky-looking Twilight hunk will not age too badly, at least according to Joe Mullins, a forensic artist who used computer technology to predict what celebs will look like after another decade. Kristin Chenoweth, who’s hosting the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards this year, kicks some werewolf butt in this new Twilight-inspired promo for the show. It’s not hard to guess where she falls in the Team Edwards/Team Jacob debate. Not only is the Lautner look-alike in the video the wimpiest werewolf that ever snarled, Kristin slaps him because Robert Pattinson isn’t more central to “New Moon.” Ouch.
