Vibrant colors and little black dresses were sparse on the red carpet at the 2010 Grammy Awards. Though Rihanna and Carrie Underwood shined in bright white, the night was all about shimmery nudes. Katy Perry flaunted a bare back in an Indian-inspired Zac Posen gown, while Beyonce va va voom’d in a hip-hugging zippered dress. Keri Hilson radiated classic beauty in a mermaid-cut Dolce and Gabbana. Heidi Klum looked predictably flawless in a low-cut glittery number. The neutral color scheme could have lead to quite a “meh” night of fashion, but the abundance of curves more than made up for the lack of purples, reds, and blues. [Photos: Getty Images]

Enjoy lots of slithering and shaking by B in a variety of belly-baring ensembles, as well as a cameo chair dance by a svelte Lady Gaga in a white leotard. Could the world’s most successful couple be ready to create a super spawn? Jay-Z has apparently revealed to Gotham magazine that he and Beyonce are ready to start a family. According to the mag, “the most important thing on the horizon [for Jay-Z] seems to be a plan to have children with Knowles.” Suri Cruise is probably shaking in her high heels right now just imagining the power that kid’s gonna have in the celebrity baby world. (See Beyonce and Jay-Z cuddling at the EMAs last week.)
Jay also flaunts his ego in the interview: “I don’t dislike anything about myself,” and waxes poetic about the importance of family, especially when fame is all around. “You have to be close with your foundation and the people who know you best because they’ve known you for so long that they can see the changes in you” he says. “Fame is such a deadly drug that you can’t see the changes because you are so consumed by it. You need a close-knit group of friends and family to make sure you stay grounded.”

Every celebrity has a perfume nowadays, so it was only a matter of time before
Beyonce signed on to create one too. Beyonce recently made a deal with fragrance manufacturer Coty to release a scent in 2010, but Abercrombie & Fitch wanted to make sure that the singer, whose last album was called “I Am…Sasha Fierce”, didn’t use her alter ego’s name on the product. Abercrombie owns a trademark to the word “fierce” and uses that as a name for one of its own fragrances and they’re worried that a Sasha Fierce fragrance might cause confusion or cost them sales.

Christian Siriano/every other diva-tastic celeb bandwagon when they decided to co-opt that word? Get over it, guys. No one is going to confuse anything you do for anything Beyonce does. Regardless, Beyonce and Coty have assured everyone the word “fierce” will not show up in any of its branding. Madonna is set to perform at this year’s X-Factor show, according to a new report. The annual talent-search is kicking off on British TV next month, and host Simon Cowell is determined that he’s going to sign up the pop superstar to make an appearance, as well as Lady Gaga and Beyonce again.
