The 2010 Paralympic Torch, designed and manufactured by Bombardier, has the same design as the 2010 Olympic Torch. However, the Paralympic Torch is blue in colour and features the official 2010 Paralympic Winter Games emblem.

The 2010 Paralympic Torch Relay, presented by the Government of Canada, is a 10-day celebration highlighting and sharing the stories of inspirational individuals: their achievements, their passions and their courage. Although smaller in scope than the 2010 Olympic Torch Relay, the Paralympic Torch Relay will be an equally inspirational, clearly distinct event with its own look and identity.

When will the Paralympic Torch Relay occur?

The 2010 Paralympic Torch Relay will begin in Ottawa, Ontario on March 3 with a lighting ceremony and conclude at the 2010 Paralympic Games Opening Ceremony signalling the start of the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Winter Games on March 12, 2010.
