Celebrate 2010: Experience the Games

The Olympic and Paralympic Games represent the best in sport and culture. Athletes are everyday heroes, and all people should have the chance to experience the power and magic of the Games. With our partners, we are helping to make this possible.

Celebrate 2010 was created to bring dreams to life. It is a program that provides 2010 Winter Games tickets to those who would not otherwise have the financial means to attend. Eyes will light up at the sight of the world’s best athletes competing for their countries. The Games ignite a passion in us all, and everyone should have the opportunity to see memories-in-the-making.

Celebrate 2010 tickets will include all Olympic and Paralympic sports and nightly Olympic Victory Ceremonies. These tickets will be free to recipients and include local public transit.

Ticket Availability

VANOC is working with a range of community partners including BC Housing and the BC Non-Profit Housing Association to ensure a fair distribution of Celebrate 2010 tickets. There will be a focus on children and families, residents of Vancouver’s inner city and Aboriginal peoples. Attention will also be directed to neighbourhoods around the Games practice ice arenas, persons with a disability and new immigrants.

Celebrate 2010 ticket recipients will be identified by the community organizations or agencies with whom they interact. Tickets will not be provided directly to individuals. If you are a community organization that works with people of limited means in Metro Vancouver or the Sea to Sky corridor and you have not been contacted about the Celebrate 2010 program by November 16, 2009, please contact us at info@celebrate2010.vancouver2010.com

Celebrate 2010 is supported by various VANOC marketing programs including a significant contribution by Jet Set Sports, Official Supporter of the 2010 Winter Games.
