Transportation

5 Things To Remember About Transportation

  1. Public transportation is accessible to all and is the quickest, most reliable way to go. Access to public transit is included in your Paralympic ticket for the day of the event. Know before you go and give yourself plenty of time to reach your venue.

  2. There is no parking at any Paralympic Venue. Limited parking is available near Whistler for spectators travelling to Whistler Olympic Park or Whistler Creekside.

  3. No Sea to Sky checkpoint will be in place and no permits are required to drive Highway 99 from Vancouver to Whistler during the Paralympic Winter Games.

  4. To reach Whistler Paralympic Park and Whistler Creekside, spectators can ride-share/carpool or use commercial motorcoach to access the Whistler Paralympic Park spectator parking lot at the base of Callaghan Valley Road. From there, take designated shuttles (free and fully accessible) to the venues. Please note there is be no Paralympic bus network service.

  5. Walk, bike and use public transportation whenever possible. Using these modes will ensure you get to your destination while contributing to a greener, more sustainable Games.
