AXEL Radio Commentators

  • Ted Barton – Producer – A Canadian World Team member as a skater and National Team coach. Ted is currently the Executive Director, Skate Canada BC and Executive Producer of Skate Buzz, a website for figure skating fans. He was a co-designer of the ISU judging system for figure skating.

  • Sally Rehorick – Commentator - With 25 years as a figure skating judge, referee and technical controller, this is Sally’s sixth Olympic Winter Games. She was the chef de mission for the Canadian team at the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games.

  • Jamie McGrigor – Commentator – A Canadian World Team member and coach of many international champions and world team athletes. As a National Coaching Certification Program instructor for over 25 years, Jamie also coaches and trains other coaches. He is one of four technical specialists qualified in two different disciplines.

  • David Kirby – Commentator – A US National Novice Mens Champion and US National Junior Pairs Silver Medallist. David has coached skaters who have been successful at US National Championships and ISU International Competitions. He is a championship level technical specialist for the ISU and US Figure Skating.
