The Organizing Committee is working closely with the Lil’wat, Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations, known collectively as the Four Host First Nations, to achieve unprecedented Aboriginal participation in the planning and hosting of the 2010 Winter Games.
Sport Partners
The Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) is responsible for all aspects of Canada's involvement in the Olympic Movement, including Canada's participation in the Olympic and Pan American Games, and a wide variety of programs that promote the Olympic Movement in Canada through cultural and educational means.
The Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC) delivers programs that strengthen the Paralympic Movement in Canada, including sending Canadian teams to the Paralympic Games. The CPC empowers persons with physical disabilities, through sport, at all levels.
Launched in January 2005, Own the Podium 2010 is a national sport technical initiative designed to help Canada’s winter athletes win the most number of medals at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, and to place in the top three nations (gold medal count) at the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games.

BC 2010 Winter Games Secretariat
The British Columbia 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Secretariat (BC Secretariat) is the provincial agency responsible for overseeing British Columbia’s Olympic financial commitments and ensuring BC’s Olympic vision is achieved.
2010 International Media Centre
The BC secretariat is also responsible for the International Media Centre for unaccredited members of the media.
2010 Legacies Now is dedicated to strengthening arts, literacy, sport and recreation, physical activity and volunteerism in communities throughout BC leading up to and beyond the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

The 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Federal Secretariat is the focal point for the Government of Canada's participation in the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Vancouver and Whistler.
The 2010 Winter Games will be staged in Vancouver, Whistler, Richmond and Surrey.
