Investment networks

The Centre brings the investment world of Oxfordshire and London together with entrepreneurs and enables them to contact investors regionally, nationally and internationally (and vice versa).

Investment networks in the Oxfordshire region include:

Angel networks & early stage/seed funding opportunities

Oxford Early Investment

Oxford Early Investments (OEI) is a business angel network that focuses on companies at the very early stages of technical and commercial development. It provides investors with opportunities that are at an earlier stage than those selected to present to OION. The two networks aim to provide investors with the widest possible range of investment opportunities, both in terms of stage of development and capital requirements.

University of Oxford proof of concept and seed funds

The University has created three investment funds in recent years accessible to University researchers for the development of technologies for commercialisation. Although they differ in minor aspects, mainly related to the ways they were originally created, the Funds can be treated as identical from the researchers perspective.

ISIS Angels Network

Isis Angels Network (IAN) is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee that provides a vehicle for the introduction of private individuals and companies with potential interest in investing in spin-out companies from the University of Oxford.

Advanced stage investment & venture capital funding

Oxford Investment Opportunity Network (OION)

Oxford Investment Opportunity Network (OION) is an investment network that focuses on innovative technology companies with high growth potential. OION aims to match entrepreneurs seeking business development funds with business angels and other investors, and secures investment rounds of between £200,000 and £2m for between 10 and 15 companies each year.

Thames Valley Investment Network

TVIN links investors to companies with high growth potential seeking business development funds from £150,000 to £750,000. The Thames Valley is one of Europe's most successful regions and there is a strong and growing need for such an investment network from companies who wish to access funding and expertise and investors seeking high quality investment opportunities.
