Current Activities Of Inland Empire Waterkeeper
Our education program introduces local high school students to the “watershed” concept and the importance of clean water through in-class exercises and field trips at no cost to schools.
Advocating for water quality is a big task that never ceases. We work with several regional and state task forces, community groups and local citizens to protect and preserve the watershed.

Enhancement and restoration efforts are needed in many of our waterways. We are proud to participate in several stewardship and restorative projects.
Sometimes, enforcement of the Clean Water Act and Porter-Cologne Act is necessary to protect water quality. The results of any litigation benefit the watershed, not our organization.
