Legal policy
We remove comments in line with our moderation and comments policy but anyone who wants to report anything they deem to be offensive or a potential libel or copyright infringement should contact us immediately and the relevant comment or post will be reviewed.

All content is viewed and used by you at your own risk and we do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of any of the information.

The views expressed are those of the individual contributors and not necessarily those of LabourList or the Labour party.

Data Protection Policy
In accordance with the 1998 Data Protection Act, LabourList will not pass on your name or any of your submitted contact details, including your Email address, to any third party; commercial, political, or governmental.

Comment moderation policy
LabourList is a place for Labour-minded people to debate the pertinent centre-left issues of the day and the policies and direction of the Labour movement. It is an open forum and anyone and all are free to contribute by leaving comments.

Debate - by its very definition - requires disagreement. So we will always welcome divergent views and we encourage people to express where they agree and disagree with others.

However, we believe that all comments should seek to add value to the original post. So in order to encourage discussion in an evironment that is welcoming and inclusive for the Labour-minded, we will remove consistently off-topic remarks and personal or routinely negative or deragatory attacks on the government or other readers or contributors. We will immediately remove comments that are deemed to be racist, sexist, homophobic, gratuitous or threatening.

Comments left should be considered published under the Creative Commons licence and may be reproduced by LabourList or other third parties.

Financial Statement
LabourList Limited is incorporated as a company limited by guarantee. We are exploring with the Electoral Commission our precise obligations regarding declarations of funding, and will abide by any relevant laws, rules and regulations as they let us know.
