NEW GHP "Carpenter's Wonderwall" download:

Another new GHP bootleg / m@sh-up "Carpenter's Wonderwall"

Very simple in structure / execution and an exercise in bringing two extremes together in 'perfect?'
harmony.
Or...a quickie round the back of the bike shed and a lesson in how to ruin a great pop song.

As usual this can be grabbed from the downloads section.
Also available is a suitably 'simple' GHP video>

NEW GHP "Virgin O'Riley" download:

A brand new GHP bootleg / m@sh-up "Virgin O'Riley".
Throws together Madonna and The Who (Like A Virgin // Baba O'Riley).
Yes, I should be publicly hung, strung and quartered for this but somehow I couldn't really care less.
You takes it, you leaves it :)

You can grab it from the downloads section.
Made a video for it too, which you can watch below>
And yes I'm well aware that 'Baba O'Riley' wasn't used in Quadrophenia but felt it rather apt for this.
In my humble opinion The Who were the greatest 'rock' band...

2010: The Year We Make Contact
(again)
Imminent Disclosure...

Happy New Yearest, My Dearest!
Winter Website Warm-Up in full flow, lot's to talk about but so little time... here goes.

First, some new bootleg gear for you to grab from the downloads page.
Correct me if I'm wrong but it's been over 18 months since I last dabbled with the dark side of the m@sh: Spliced Krispies.
Dare I say that I've got a taste for it again? Indeed.
Things will definitely be more proactive in that department, certainly more than they were in 2009...
Also, news of GHP joining Addictive TV, GHP's Alicia Keys vs Stevie Wonder mash "Karmastition" being used as one of the tracks
for a finalist in Singapore Idol, an exclusive Al Murray GHP Remix on DVD and an official release for a GHP remix of seminal Punk & Dub Reggae band Ruts DC on the Echo Beach label.

The Boy is Back In Town
GHP returns with a double A-sided virtual 7" single and video

Go Home Productions "Thin Genie" cover

Thin Genie b/w Boys Are Back On The Bottle is a cheeky revision of an idea I had a few years ago
with Thin Lizzy and Christina Aguilera. Tucked away on one of the GHP Complete albums was a work in progress called "Genie's Back In Town". I really liked the combo but the lack of an instrumental of the Thin Lizzy track hampered it.
Since the Guitar Hero game however, parts have become available and the 2 mixes here are the
result of me fucking around with them during the snow storm in the UK this week.
"Thin Genie" gives Phil Lynott the lead, with Christina taking over on the flipside.
Thanks to the continued freeze lock-in, I also ventured to create a video for the A-Side >
Grab them here.

Mark Vidler Joins Addictive TV

So that's why he's been so quiet of late...
Frantic Mag.Com Article

Well, it was always on the cards as they say over here.
Those of you who are familiar with all things Bootleg & M@sh-up and have dabbled in the visual side of things, should be well
aquainted with Addictive TV.
Graham Daniels & Co have touted their audio visual magic all over the globe for many a year now, also being the first outfit to
officially remix Hollwood movies including Take The Lead / Snakes On A Plane / Iron Man / Fast & Furious / Max Payne and
most recently Slumdog Millionaire.

GHP joins ATV: Audio Visual Mashing: Graham Daniels & Mark Vidler

GHP & Addictive TV first crossed paths back in 2006
when EMI Records forged ahead with releasing my
Blondie vs The Doors "Rapture Riders" track officially
and drafted in Addictive TV to create the music video.
Since then we've both kept tabs on each others
escapades and joined forces in June last year to work
on upcoming audio visual projects and gigs as
outlined below.
First was a Redbull commissioned audio visual mix for
the Redbull X-Fighters World Tour 2009 Final at
Battersea Power Station last August. 90% of the audio was created by using motorbike sounds alone.
We were also asked to create TV spots for FIVE's
coverage of the Europa League. The entire spot was
made from football sounds and crowd noises.

.

Apart from the commissioned work we've also indulged ourselves in a couple of Classic Cult TV Remix Bootlegs that are currently
going down a storm in the live sets, namely Star Trek & Thunderbirds.
Thus far I've completed ATV gigs at Koko in Camden Town (BIMA Awards Ceremony) and just recently in Moscow's exclusive
Krysha Mira Club
in Russia.
On February 5th we are playing Code Live at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada.
At the end of March we are playing a few dates in Paris, France - Nouveau Casino 27th / Echonova, Vannes 28th.
On April 10th we are playing alongside DJ Yoda at the HMV Forum, Kentish Town, London.
All relevant Addictive TV gigs will be updated in the DJ Dates section.

GHP's Karmastition on Singapore Idol
Probably the wierdest fucking thing I've ever seen...

I'm still laughing in a very awkward way after
watching this again...
OK for those of you who were still in nappies circa
2004, I made a bootleg for Alicia Keys record label.
I mixed her new single at the time 'Karma' with Stevie Wonders 'Superstition' and created: 'Karmastition'.
It was widely lauded by all and sundry, promo
A-listed on radio the world over, big club smash
etc but Stevie's 'people' blocked it. Idiots.

Still, Karmastition has transcended the ages and
was recently used as a track in Singapore Idol.
Fathin Amira was the contestant who 'sang' Alicia's
part. I know not how she fared in the rest of the TV show but fair play to whoever suggested she tackle it!

Karmastition was never released officially but if you
scour the darkest depths of ebay you'll find a copy
of the (un)official UK or US 12"

Exclusive Al Murray Go Home Productions Remix on DVD

Pub Landlord at The 02 Arena gets GHP remix treatment / DVD extras
- Out Now Avalon Press Release

After writing and performing the theme music for the Al Murray's Personality Disorder ITV show last
year, I was asked to 'remix' his Pub Landlordship for some bonus DVD download action.
The track in question is "Broken Britain Boogie" - the anthem used on the Beautiful British Tour
last year and the Go Home Productions 'Tuesday Night Dance Mix' is available as an exclusive
download when you purchase the Pub Landlord At The 02 DVD.

You can grab the DVD from Amazon / Play and other similar outlets.

The Ruts DC remixed by Go Home Productions Official Release

Ruts DC Reloaded album features GHP remix of "Love & Fire" - Out Now

Head honcho of the German based Roots & Dub Reggae Echo Beach label,
Nicolai Beverungen, enlisted my services last year to remix a couple of tracks by artists
who I couldn't turn down, Martha & The Muffins and The Ruts.
The Go Home Productions Remix of Martha & The Muffins "Echo Beach" was out in 2009
and now the GHP Remix of The Ruts DC's "Love & Fire" has been officially released.
Ruts DC - Rhythm Collision Re-Loaded features the GHP mix alongside versions by Dreadzone, Salz, Steve Dub, Rob Smith and Ruts DC themselves.
You can hear samples of all the remixes on the Juno Downloads page.
I stayed close to the dub feel of the 1982 original (as is my want) but slipped in a few
modern spaced-out fx and melodica riffs for good measure.

You can get the CD from Amazon or download from Juno / iTunes etc
