Mission Statement

The mission of the Polk County Sheriff's Office is to preserve the rights of citizens in the County through protection of life and property, prevention of crime, and maitaining public order.  The Polk County Sheriff's Office is committed to these goals and will strive to accomplish this mission by setting goals and objectives and practicing professional standards set forth by the Department. 

The Sheriff of Polk County is totally dedicated to this mission and fully accepts the responsibility of obtaining our goals by keeping in mind first our professional standards and the public interest.
