Tuition and fee at TVU are listed in the following table. Tuition for per unit graduate credit is the same for Certificate program, M. S. program and Doctorate Degree program, as well as for the open enrollment program (or auditing program).

Refund Policies

The first-time application fee and every trimester's registration fees are all non refundable, regardless of the number of units registered. The first semester's tuition for all TVU International Students is non-refundable from the date of registration or enrollment (what ever comes first).

However, for the rest trimesters other than the first one, students may formally withdraw from a class by completing a Course Drop Form . If a student withdraws from a course (i.e. drops the course by processing the withdraw form), he/she may be eligible to receive a refund according to the following chart for the refund policies. The last class date or lecture hour (whichever is later) before the Course Drop Form is received will be used to calculate the refund. Student is also required to return all the checked out items such as library books and equipment prior to refund. The detailed refund schedule for a typical 3 credit unit class is as follows:

Tuition and Fee Payment Plans

The most convenient and efficient way of register class is to create your own TVU ID and register in your own account by selecting your courses. All transaction is security. Receipt you be generated automatically and E-mail to you immediately. The university do not even have your credit information. To prompt the most convenient and efficient ways for registration, TVU waive the $50 standard registration fee if you register class and make payment by yourself.

We still process the conventional way of registration, by call TVU with your credit card information or E-mail your credit card details for process. There are a $50 fee charge for manually registration. We will process your credit card, E-mail you official invoice and receipt with your credit card receipt. We will create you a TVU account and manually put the courses your registered into your account. Tri-Valley University provides tuition two installments and three installments payment options to our students. For two-installment payment option, student pays $1500 at the registration as the first installment which is due at the last day of registration setting up by each term; the 2nd payment due in the 10's week of each term. For three installments payment plan, student pays only $1000 at the registration, and pay $900 as the second and third installment anytime he/she chooses before the 10's week of the term. There are a $50 late fee charge when register passing these due days. The due day for each term is the 10 week. The 3Installment payments are also available in TVU website.
