Louisiana-Lafayette defensive end moving up the charts Aaron Wilson
Louisiana-Lafayette defensive end Hall Davis has visited the New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers, Tennessee Titans and the Detroit Lions, according to a source close to the program.
The 6-foot-4, 271-pounder Ragin' Cajun was a late invite to the Senior Bowl, but declined the invitation to continue his preparations for the NFL scouting combine.
At his campus Pro Day workout, Davis ran the 40-yard dash in 4.86 seconds, a time slowed by a hamstring problem. He also bench pressed 225 pounds 27 times.
He also registered a 34 ½ inch vertical leap, a 9-6 broad jump and a 7.63 three-cone drill.
Twenty-four teams, including the San Diego Chargers, New Orleans Saints, St. Louis Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals, attended his Pro Day workout.
Davis recorded three sacks, 22 tackles, 4 ½ for losses last season.
He’s expected to be drafted somewhere between the third and fifth rounds.

Hall was not being mentioned a lot of late, was wondering where he went. He was someone to consider in middle rounds, has a lot of the attributes you look for. Then Gil Brandt directly mentioned him as a value in this draft. Now the teams are getting in on his game and he's likely to go higher than original projections would assume.
There was still a pretty quiet stretch of time for Hall, maybe they should have got more PR out ahead of his sessions because if Brandt mentions the man he's worth bringing to a team.
