INDIVIDUAL AND SCHOOL PRIZES TO BE WON!

The Tasmanian Theatre Company will be producing the Tasmanian final of this annual event on 17th July 2010, at the Backspace Theatre Theatre Royal, thanks to the support of the Tasmanian Community Fund,  Aurora Energy and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

The northern heats of the competition will be held in Latrobe on Sunday 11th July as part of the Chocolate Winterfest. Winners of the northern heat will be offered assistance to travel to Hobart for the state final. A nationally recognised comedian will come to Hobart to MC the finals and will present a workshop for participants prior to the event.

Participating students should be between 14 and 17 years of age and may prepare stand-up or skit pieces, as a solo or with others.
