A brand-new Star Wars soundtrack fills the air after all these years: George Lucas, Rick McCallum, and John Williams have recently been spending some quality time together with their friends in the London Symphony Orchestra, recording Williams' new soundtrack score for Star Wars: Episode I. The venerable Abbey Road studios have been the site of the event, which returns the Academy Award ®-winning Williams to the creation of Star Wars music at long last. Lucas and McCallum will return to California soon with the symphonic treasure to lay it into the evolving cut of the film, which grows ever closer to its final form.
