Message from the Dean
For the next month, when I’m not in my “day job” as dean, I’ll be delivering the A.W. Mellon Lectures, Art and Representation in the Ancient New World , in Washington, D.C. I gave the first talk, “The Shifting Now of the Pre-Columbian Past,” on Sunday; an audio podcast of that lecture will be online later this week. To follow the news feed about the lectures, live from the National Gallery of Art, check out the gallery’s Facebook page .
