Six-week makover by Michael Thurman works! I lost 40 pounds in 6 weeks, my daughter lost 32. This was soooooooo easy and the exercise are very fun. The results are better than gastric.

Everyone, it seems, has a story. Here's mine: I was hungry all the time with a (literally) uncontrollable appetite. Constant headaches, constant gastritis, poly neuritis, unexplained joint pain, pitting edema, restless leg syndrome. Then I stopped eating wheat. Simple as that. Water and weight literally poured off me (I lost 30 pounds in 3 weeks that hasn't returned, 6 months later). No more headaches, no more gastritis, no more poly neuritis or restless leg syndrome or joint pain. The "idiopathic" pitting edema that physicians couldn't find a cause for is gone, as is my uncontrollable appetite. Amazing.

I feel sorry for celebrities mindless, frivolous, with an empty life seems exciting ...Millions of children dying of hunger, millions of people starving because they have nothing to eat and we trivialize the welfare society every day!...What a pity!!!.

It's all pretty crazy. No one should starve themselves completely for periods. Just eat healthfully regularly - Jennifer Aniston sounded the most sensible.

The Giuliana Rancic pregnancy weight drama is nutty. I would advise any patient of mine who is underweight to gain weight and retain that weight for the duration of the time that they are trying for a pregnancy. Her Dr told her to gain at least 5-10 lbs - she gained 7. When she wasn't pregnant 4-6 weeks later she said she was angry, blamed the Dr and lost the weight. Dumb move. That's even less hormone being secreted now. And I feel sorry for her Dr. I had a colleague in a similar situation with a woman who also insisted on staying underweight while "trying". Finally, miraculously, she got pregnant. She naturally gained weight as the pregnancy progressed. He tried to persuade her it was normal but she couldn't handle it. She would diet and do these cleanses WHILE PREGNANT and lie to him - then admit it later. Sometimes because her glucose or vitamins were too low. Her baby was born prematurely, low birth weight with some health problems, exactly as he predicted. She sued him. Case still in litigation.

Beyonce must eat a lot of junk/fried food to put weight on so fast- the master cleanse is not that difficult. I know lots of people who do it twice a year for their health more than weight.
We all eat too much and should give our bodies a break- but tricking yourself like some here say- does not really work like knowing what makes you feels good to eat- and to learn that- you need to do a cleanse.
Better yet- eat vegetarian!

I think Dr. Nicolas Perricone has discovered the secret of weight loss. There is no need to suffer, no need to be hungry, no need to eat tasteless food, no need to loose muscle tissue and look haggard. His book on this subject is the very best I have read in fifteen years of reading. Read it yourself to find the key, the secret of healthy weight loss and a healthy life.

very good to detox..but better to use natural foods to do so.....thinking of which, I should be doing one very soon!! =)

Don't take Giffords advice of starving yourself...but here's a good example of what to eat for the day. Remember to eat 5 to 6 times a day to get that metabolism going! =)

Meal 1 : 3 egg whites, brown toast(no butter), lean ham
Meal 2 : 2 packs of plain oatmeal, 2 Splenda, 12 raisins, teaspoon of cinnamon
Meal 3: 100 g of chicken, salad(lettuce, tomatoes, etc), 2 tbsps of balsamic vinaigrette
Meal 4: tuna, mustard, tomatoes, 1 slice of brown toast, protien drink
Meal 5: 100 g of steak/beef, brown rice and side veggies
Meal 6: Yogurt (no fat or sugar added), protien drink

Have fun!

Multiple studies have confirmed that frequency of meals has no impact on weight loss. Here is one.

If by packs you mean that instant oatmeal garbage, good way to spike your insulin! Eat REAL oatmeal, the kind you have to cook!

My wife is 107 and 5' tall. She has a little extra loving here and there but the only word to describer her is "delicious"
These women that obsess over there weight must be nightmares to deal with and boring to take out and enjoy and evening with. I will take my wife over any of these ladies anyday.

Being slim is one thing, but Kathy Griffin looks likes she's been on a concentration camp diet.
