Slovak president to visit Moscow for May 9

Slovakia’s President Ivan Gashparovich said he will come to Moscow on the invitation of President Dmitry Medvedev to take part in the celebration of the 65th anniversary of Victory over Nazism on May 9. He also said that events to mark the victory of the anti-Hitler coalition in the Second World War will be held in the Slovak capital of Bratislava. He said that annual commemoration events are important first of all for young people who do not take the war as a tragedy anymore.
