The Eagles announced on Tuesday morning that they have signed guard Greg Isdaner to a three-year deal.

A rookie free agent signing of the Cowboys in 2009, the 6-4, 325-pound guard spent part of last season on the Eagles practice squad. A Philadelphia native, Isdaner starred at Episcopal Academy before having an outstanding career at West Virginia where he was a three-year starter and earned ESPN first-team All-American honors in 2008.

Isdaner took part in this past weekend's post-draft mini-camp on a tryout basis.

I REALLY like this pick up. This kid can really block. Another guard is great to have, seeing as we may end up having center issues and his size is a good thing too.
