Sydney woman injured in bungee mishap

A Sydney woman has been injured in a bungee-jumping accident in New Zealand.

The woman has been taken to Christchurch hospital after slipping from a bungee cord into a river.

She is reportedly in a stable condition and her injuries are not life-threatening.

The company running the bungee jump, Thrillseekers Adventures, have suspended operations and the matter is now being investigated by police and the department of labour.
