FSF Tracker Watch - Nov. 24

November 25, 08 by sharky   6,706  views

More tracker news. New torrent sites. ‘Nuff said. We’ve snooped around and found a whack of new trackers for all your torrenting needs. Top stories: Waffles.fm & What.cd collaborate to bust a member selling invites on eBay; STN - a new Torrent Forum; ScL & iPlay.ro give invites to every member; and 20 new trackers, including 3 new music sites.

SCC Makes Some Changes

SCC is really on the up-and-up as of late. From having insane pre-times that meet or beat those of ScT, they’ve recently added their TV/DVDRip section to the Archive section, making it freeleech. Aside from already having FL on the MP3/0Day section (11,305 torrents), their Archive now consists of Games/Packs, Movies/Packs, TV/DVDRip and TV/Packs - totalling 732 FL torrents.

ScL, iPlay.ro Gives All Members An Invite

No matter what ‘class’ you’re in at ScL, everyone received one invite today - the catch? It’s only good for 24 hours. Either find someone quickly to give it to, or hit up your favorite tracker forum where there’s tons of unclaimed giveaway offers.

iPlay.ro did the same thing to commemorate their 3rd birthday, except Users & PUs received one invite, and Extreme Users & VIPs get 2 free invites. Except to see a few more invite GAs popping up for this great Romanian 0day tracker.

Waffles.fm Busts Member For Selling Invites on eBay

Today, "Thanks to a cooperative effort with staff at what.cd, we’ve busted one of our own well-known members for selling invites on eBay. towelie, aka shad0w on what.cd, eBay username sueles810 has been banned, along with all of his invitees." Here (was) his user avatar (minus the ‘BUSTED’ part):

Waffles has since removed the message from their homepage, and moved it to this thread in the forums.

Truth be told, how dumb could this member be?! Staff from trackers like What.cd & Waffles are trolling every corner of the ‘Net looking for this kind of activity. No rocket science to how he/she got busted, they just had to ‘buy’ the invite and look to see who invited them in the invite tree.

There’s no word whether it was just towelie’s ‘direct’ invitees that also got banned at Waffles or the entire invite tree, but probably the latter. His username on What.cd (shad0w) which was also disabled, shows him as a Power User and a member there for almost a full year, which means he quite likely had a very extensive invite tree with many tiers - figuring how generous What.cd is with their invites. It’s not impossible to perceive that well over 100 members could be directly involved in the crackdown.

Sharing-The.net — A Fresh New (Torrent) Forum

Sharing-The.Net is a new P2P / BitTorrent forum that has recently surfaced on the scene. STN offers the usual fare of Tracker Invites & Giveaways, Torrent Talk, Open Signups threads and a vast array of other topics. There’s already some big names in here of some highly respected members of the private tracker scene. Great job, sWiFT!

Bye Bye, Scenemovies - Hello, PassThePopcorn

Scenemovies.org, a newer tracker for films, has recently switched over to a new domain at http://PassThePopcorn.org. Same great gazelle; same great features! Users should be able to login with their old SM user/pass. Currently, there’s over 2,000 torrents and 4,600 users. Signups to PassThePopcorn are currently open!

New Trackers to the BitTorrent Scene

Gazelle Trackers:

http://7track.org7Track is probably the only gazelle tracker in existence that is also a ‘general’ tracker; that is, it doesn’t cater specifically to music or movies, but just about everything. Currently there’s 783 active torrents shared amongst 2,929 users. The default "sovietski" CSS theme is something to behold - sign up and see.

Music Trackers:

www.blackrevolution.roBKR has been recently relaunched as a music-only tracker, with some videos and music DVDs thrown in for good measure among the 473 torrents. We’re not keen about the unaviodable Google popup ads, but these are easily removed with the AdBlock+ Firefox add-on.

www.silverseed.netSilverSeed is a music tracker that’s totally dedicated to music videos (singles, TV Rips as well as DVDRips). SS has been around for just over a month now, and already they’ve put together an impressive 1,757 torrents.

http://thescene.ro — Brand-new music tracker for scene releases. Currently lists 500 torrents; many are freeleech.

Adult Trackers:

http://sexytuga.net — New adult Spanish tracker - not much going on.

http://pornoplus.org — Newer tracker with 900+ adult torrents, including some DVDRs. Most stuff is proper scene releases.

General Trackers:

www.scenefeed.org— Very promising new 0day tracker with some good pre-times. In the past week, there’s already 375 torrents, and everything is freeleech. It should be noted that almost all torrents are TV releases.

www.animersion2.net — While not new (they’ve been around since August), AM2 is a Spanish tracker with over 1,200 torrents, including a great selection of PC ISO games.

www.torrentslord.org — A huge amount of stuff gets added to the site, but it’s all external (using public trackers). You’d be safer on Demonoid.

www.fast-tracker.net — A newer Romanian tracker with over 1,800 torrents - FLAC music, ISO games, TV, Movies, etc - decent pre-times, too!

http://playsensation.ro — New Rom/Eng tracker with just 126 active torrents. Worth a look, as there’s quite a bit of new stuff each day.

http://torrentcity.nimda.ro — Brand-new ‘general’ tracker with just 73 torrents. Most everything is marked freeleech.

www.dvdscifi.org — You guessed it - all things pertaining to SciFi, including games, DVDR movies, audiobooks and TV shows.

www.siditorrents.ro — Newer tracker with 2,250 torrents (all freeleech), including over 250 Pr0n torrents. Good pre-times.

http://powrtorrent.info — Hungarian tracker that débuted in September. 563 torrents.

http://helltorrent.lir.dk — Newer tracker with 1,550 active torrents.

http://master-torrents-tracker.co.cc — Newer tracker with 124 torrents (98 are Movies/ XviD titles).

http://pspmania.redgaming.ro — At last check, there were NO active torrents. At least they can’t be accused of breaking any laws.

http://www.darkrosess.com — Just 39 active torrents. OMG! There’s aXXo torrents here! Oh, wait - there’s some Pr0n, too! Can anyone say H&R?

Sharky, nothing against you but, come on, I always thought you were unbiased. I love FSF but to quote you “no rocket science” needed to figure this is a cheap setup. Waffles.fm and What.cd knew about the eBay auctions all along, they just let it grow for maximum marketing impact.

It only takes a bait and an Indian or Arab gerbo to boost any British, Canadian or australian owned tracker. They like it when it goes EBay it boosts the hype, it’s the E-Vanity factor. i know that, you know that, now we all know that.

BTW I’m in both trackers, now bust me and ali baba and the forty thieves and… your mum. You can’t, you know you can’t and you like it. It’s our promiscuous little secret in What.cd, Waffles.fm and wherever boosting the trackers’ hype is needed.

And now they banned every innocent person to create a big noise, a big drama. Busting is so wrong, let’s see if these 2 trackers will like it when they get busted by BREIN, the police and… your mum. Then, fame at last, eh? making headlines like they are asking for it.

    Oh, silly wannabes. :)
