NORFOLK — State representative candidate Dan Winslow has called on the House and Senate conference committee to adopt criminal penalties in the anti-bullying legislation being considered in the Legislature.

NORFOLK– State Representative candidate Dan Winslow, the former Presiding Justice of the Wrentham District Court, today issued a pledge to limit himself to no more than three terms in the House if elected in November. “We need more citizen legislators in the State House,” said Winslow, “who have real world experience and who understand the challenges of paying their bills and making ends meet in the private sector.”

Former judge eyes Ross seat
Norfolk town moderator Dan Winslow, the former presiding justice at Wrentham District Court, has his eyes on Rep. Richard Ross’s seat in the state House of Representatives.
Winslow informally announced his intent to run for the 9th Norfolk District position after Ross, R-Wrentham, threw his hat in the ring for a chance to succeed newly elected U.S. Sen. Scott Brown, R-Wrentham, a long-time friend and colleague.
Winslow, who had resigned from his judgeship to serve as the chief legal counsel to former Gov. Mitt Romney during the state’s last budget crisis, also counts himself among Brown’s friends. He served as the chief legal counsel to Brown’s U.S. Senate campaign.
