Johnson’s Cavalry Company

With General Ruggles, commanding First Military District, headquarters Columbus, April, 1863. Participated in the action of Genera1 Chalmers' command with Bryant's Federal command on the Coldwater, in March.

[Note: There are several Capts. Johnson who commanded Mississippi Cavalry companies during the war. It is impossible to tell from the above evidence exactly which company "Johnson’s Cavalry Company" is.]
