Collection items include fluorescent bulbs and tubes, pesticides, paint thinners, stains, polishes and waxes, turpentine, oil-based paint, pool cleaning chemicals, flea and tick powders, rodent poison, charcoal starter fluids, old gasoline & more.

Usable Latex Paint Exchange

Lincoln and Lancaster County residents but not businesses may donate usable latex paint. Anyone can take paint from the exchange. Paint must be in rust-free cans with readable, intact labels. Cans must be at least half-full.

Free Model Train Displays and Layouts

Nebraska/Iowa Railroaders have a huge 6000 sq. ft. working display of model trains that include Thomas the Tank engine! It's FREE, but donations are appreciated.

The Felted Image

Learn to make sheets of felted wool and explore methods of needle felting to create surface embellishments and imagery. Experiment with simple ways to dye and set color in felted wool. Instructor will supply images and patterns.
